The Messenger from the Mountain

Alexandra and Fotini are two sisters who struggle to survive in post-World War I Greece. Their hometown, Ainos, is constantly bombarded by Turkish troops, and everything seems hopeless when tragedy strikes their family.

However, two strangers will change the sisters’ lives forever. A wounded Turkish soldier and a man who claims to be Hermes are destined to make Fotini and Alexandra question everything they have ever believed to be true.
